Hello,

I am heading North (from NSW) bird watching. On previous trips I've planned to visit Eungella on the way back but simply run out of time. This time I planned to go there first. After closer inspection via Street view I feel part of the road to Eungella will be too much for this acrophobe! If anyone is planning (or looking for an excuse) to visit Eungella in the next few days and has room for a passenger (happy to pay petrol, bring chocolate...) please let me know.Failing that, is it worth going for a wander along the Finch Hatton Road if there is anywhere to park at the beginning (I don't have 4WD)?

Also happy to join someone for bird watching in Mackay or Proserpine. I will be on the road today, staying at Rockhampton tonight. I put in a request to join Mackay Birdlife FB a few days ago, but it's still pending, so I haven't been able to put out feelers there.

Thanks!
Sharon
