Yes - was just a casual observation that rural areas tend to elect very conservative MPs and they tend to be deniers. But there will always be exceptions of course....
I'd have thought the electorate of Grey in SA was about as badly drought affected as anywhere (although the high proportion of that electorate outside Goyder's line means drought is situation normal). Their Federal MP doesn't seem to be a denier.
Perhaps the study needs to be restricted to areas that are normally lush but are now deserts?
