Plume is already tufting on a young juvenile so this bird is looking good for a Yellow-plumed HE which also fits the location well.
The female Whistler has a very thick bill and white face, white vent, this is a good fit for female Gilbert’s Whistler.

Subject: [Birding-Aus] Bird ID
Hi All. Going through some old photos and think I may have mis-identified these two birds. Have the first as immature Grey-headed Honeyeater and second as immature Red-lored Whistler. Both taken at Nombinnie NR, NSW. Could someone please confirm, or correct? TAI. Rob Quinan
