Are there any kiwi spotting tours available anywhere in the north half of the South Island that people can recommend? I did Okarito Kiwi Tours in 2013. As advertised. We went for a walk in the forest in the dark and saw a kiwi. On the west coast, a bit north of Franz Josef Glacier.
