Hi Greg,

I can say that the Letter-winged Kites are, in fact, present near that area, as I found out on Birdata (https://birdata.birdlife.org.au/explore#map=-23.2126710_133.2301277_7&species_id=233).

There have been only minimal sightings per month, but you should also check eBird (https://ebird.org/map/lewkit1?neg=true&env.minX=&env.minY=&env.maxX=&env.maxY=&zh=false&gp=false&ev=Z&mr=1-12&bmo=1&emo=12&yr=all&byr=1900&eyr=2019).

Hope that helps,

Drew Davison.

Gooday all on BA

May be out at Alice Springs soon. Can anyone say if the Letter-wing Kites are present anywhere nearby that I may be able to see one? Also any tips on Grey Falcon?

Thanks heaps

Greg Little
