The Arid Lands is a great spot for birds, native plants, ( including a small
nursery ) plus cafe/coffee shop and giftshop. We always drop in en route to
the North, nowadays usually for coffee.
Some years ago we found, among others, REDTHROAT there after dipping elsewhere,
ELEGANT PARROT, and at the Northern end of the park where it meets the upper
end of Flinders Gulf, burrowing WHITE-BACKED SWALLOWS.
Took most of a morning, covered most of the park.
