Mike (and others)

White-throated Needletails - at least 2 at Blackbutt Avenue Pennant Hills 28/12/18 6:40PM. Both came in just above tree top height (50m) and circled briefly - may have been more to the south but hard to tell. Weather hot and humid, but no rain.

Pacific Swift - a flock just flew over my backyard in Albury (Stedman Crescent) - 10:45AM 1/1/19. The most I ever saw was 6, but I suspect there was more (my estimate at least 20). Circled around - lowest were at least 50 metres (but hard to estimate) for about 10 minutes - they then  seemed to head off in a south westerly direction. Clear blue skies on a hot morning.
First time I have had this species in Albury (and I suspect a new record for the Nailcan Hill list)

Let me know if any more details needed.
Cheers,
Peter
