Hi Ray
a couple of sources
www.eremaea.com is the bird reporting line for each state (publicly accessible site)
which links to www.ebird.org/content/australia (the Australian component of the Cornell Lab/eBird web pages (publicly accessible and searchable but registered users can post checklists etc)
Plus there are several facebook groups – notable Australian Twitchers (you’ll need to subscribe to facebook and then the group)
Cheers
Tom Wilson

Can anyone direct me to a website that focuses on reporting rare and unusual bird sightings in Australia?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
