Latham’s Snipe Robe SA

Saw a number of Latham’s Snipe at Fox Lake Robe SA.
Some surprised me in that they were right out in the open feeding on a sandbar. 
Even wading out till the water was up to their body. My experience is that they 
are usually much more reclusive.
