Hi All There was a Greenfinch in a tree on the Mayfair Rd creek just below the bridge on Mulgoa Rd, picked up by its characteristic call yesterday. Greenfinches were resident in Penrith about twenty years ago but otherwise not seen since. Also several Scarlet Honeyeaters in our part of the Valley, among other things, including a large (2m+) monitor lizard, which has been seen occasionally for years.
