Another message from Phil Gregory: We have been working on this one again and now have a smaller dive boat that is available from Sept 18-30, with an itinerary ex-Alotau and visiting Tagula, Rossel and also Normanby plus a nearby small island that has Louisiade White-eye and Louisiade Kingfisher. The limit is 6 people, so if you know anyone else interested in what will likely be a one-off trip please let us and them know, I need to know if you are interested, and do those dates work ( limited time slots here) ? I will advise a cost later, likely to be similar to the last time we tried to set this up. It includes all food so the only extras would be tips and flights, plus possibly a hotel on the way in or out. It gives a chance to see a bunch of seldom seen and very poorly known endemics; Tagula White-eye, Honeyeater, Butcherbird and Manucode, Rossel Paradise-Kingisher, the Rossel taxon of Little Shrike-thrush (impending split), Louisiade Pitta, Louisiade White-eye, Louisiade Kingfisher, Louisiade Whistler, White-throated Myzomela, Goldie's Bird of Paradise and Curl-crested Manucode, plus whatever seabirds we might encounter. Anyway, have a look and let's see if we can make this work next year Phil Gregory ornithological writer/tour leader/tour facilitator Field Guides / Sicklebill Safaris / Cassowary House / Cassowary Tours PO Box 387 Kuranda QLD 4881 Australia Ph: +61 7 40 937 318 Email: m("s2travel.com.au","info");"> Website1: http://www.sicklebillsafaris.com OR www.birder.travel Website 2: http://www.cassowary-house.com.au Website 3: http://www.cassowarytours.com.au

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
