Subject: Re Azure Kingfisher

Last year i asked a number of bird forums if they have noticed that the
Azure Kingfishers deliberately hides the two white spots on the back of its
head during court ship ? The neck feathers are ruffled and the head held in
a way that these spots are hidden . I have photos and vidoes of this. Does
anyone know anything about that ? For years i have been calling one of
their dance moves hide the white spots but I
Can find nothing written about it. Thank you
