Hi Being trying to ID a wader (circa 20 cm max) which I caught at long range two weeks ago at Bramston Beach south of Cairns. Looks like a Common sandpiper but they are rare there so it is MOST unlikely to be that. Any ideas from these somewhat noisy photos? Thanks in advance David in Blackheath Attachment:
