Hi birders I hope the photo in the link is visible to the general public. https://www.instagram.com/p/Blri6QKH-3B/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link I took this photo in about 1980-1981 on the beach at Yambuk in SW Victoria. It represents about 50-60% of a fairly large flock of Sanderlings that I flushed during a Hooded Plover survey. Rough scan of the 35mm Kodachrome slide as I trawl through my photo collection. Are Sanderlings still seen in these numbers in Victoria these days? I haven't been to Yambuk for ~30 years to see for myself! cheers ++++++++++++ Dr Lawrie Conole

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
