Hi Denise
The most specific to Iceland Field Guide is "Icelandic Bird Guide" by
Johann Oli Hilmarsson. It is a good quality paperback, runs to around 300
pages, in English with excellent photos. As it says on the cover
"Appearance/Way of Life/Habitat".
We found it very useful, especially for the vast array of ducks on the
lakes, especially Lake Myvatn. It was on sale in bookshops in *Reykjavík
and I seem to remember at the airport.*
*Hope this helps*
