Willy Wagtail recently preened on my Hills Hoist after having had a dip in the neighbour's pool. That smug look it gave of being able to use the neighbour's pool and I'm not on a hot day was not appreciated. While preening it's tail it exposed it's underneath at me to reinforce it's superiority. This sign language is also used by the Indian Myna when it wants me to shoo a cat. They call me from the Hill Hoist and when I appear they perch facing where the cat is and preen their tail and expose it's underneath at me.
