Hi Laurie I use Robson – Birds of South-East Asia – on my trips to Singapore. It might not have the detail of the Jeyarajasingam field guide (which does look very comprehensive from what I could see on Amazon) but it covers not only that area but other countries I visit in my travels in the region (eg Thailand), is not that big (so easy to carry around)...and it was free (it was given to me as a gift by my Dad as he had 2 copies). Cheers Tom Wilson From: Laurie Knight Sent: Sunday, January 21, 2018 10:25 PM To: Subject: Is Allen Jeyarajasingam's field guide to the birds of Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore the best choice for the region? G’day Folks, I’m going to be in that neck of the woods later this year. Is this the best guide? Regards, Laurie. A field guide to the birds of Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. Jeyarajasingam, Allen. Oxford: Oxford University Press, (2012. second edition).
