Hi Ian,
Yes now looking at the Little Eagle I can see it. I did not go there, not
searching the under wing pattern, it is apparent now.
Thanks Ian

Hi,
I have just got back in the land of Telstra out of the bush.
Thanks everyone for the replies about the RG, when I first saw if on the
camera I thought it was a Square-tail Kite but when I downloaded them to the
Laptop and checked in the guide book it convinced me it was a RG. But way out
of range. I was not convinced especially since there was a pair with a chick,
I think Steve Debus can confirm how old the chick is. I think about 5 to 6
weeks. The female would return to the nest often, but I did not see the male
visit in the two sessions over two days. I did see the male flying around.
For those that know Farina the RG nest is about 200 meters from the Buzzards
nest and there is a Whistling Kites nest in between.
At Farina the Black-breasted Buzzard pair, the female was at times sitting on
the nest and the male patrolling the area around. I thought as she was sitting
they had eggs or young under 6 weeks old.
I will attach one photo here and put up a few more on the Face Book page.
Shirley Cook will Steve be able to see the photos on FB or should I send them
to him?
