Hi all,

Thanks so much for the identification help from you all. It would be the
juvenile rufous whistler as I also got several snaps of the adult female in the
same vicinity and also glimpsed the male.

Cheers David

Juvenile Rufous Whistler?

The conservation battle is never finally won; the development battle is.

I hope it is OK to post this mail.

Could anyone help me with the identification of the bird captured in the
attached photo? Taken 28 September at Dangars Falls area of the Oxley Wild
Rivers National Park. Bird is circa 14 cm.

Many thanks in advance

David M Jackson
