I encountered a few such birders in my years of guiding. That being said I
have a couple of English birding friends very close to my heart, namely Bo
Beolens and Alan McBride.
However, two lovely English birders graced Lawungkurr Lodge. Darwin River, the
other week - Mike Blair and Peter Colston.
Unfortunately, a stinking hot Dry appears to have put paid to the birds around
here (one day the maximum was nearly 5oC above the long term maximum). The
most exciting thing they encountered was a large fire that threatened our
property!
