Problem solved. I was advised to "Try DELWP rather than DELPW" which has
fixed the problem.
After a first failure, as a form of idiot proofing I thought I had copied
the address from an old email which worked in the past. Unfortunately I
seemed to have got the wrong one stuck on my clipboard. I have thus proved
(again) the adage "The problem with idiot proofing its that they keep
making bïgger idiots.".
