Thanks so much to all who wrote back following my RFI about New Caledonia. I have just returned from a family holiday and written up a report either as pdf on cloudbirders or direct at http://cs.adelaide.edu.au/~ianr/Birding/Reports/NewCaledonia.pdf or on my blog in 3 parts at https://thefeatheredvariety.wordpress.com/ I didn't engage a guide but still found all of the endemics in 1 day and a couple of hours (apart from the NC Grassbird which I did not look for) birding alone. Cheers, Ian -- Prof. Ian Reid, FTSE ARC Laureate Fellow School of Computer Science University of Adelaide Adelaide, 5005 ph: +61 (08) 83132135 www: http://cs.adelaide.edu.au/~ianr

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
