The IOC 7.2 update is now available at http://www.worldbirdnames.org/updates/ >From what I can see the only changes that effect the Australian list are all to do with alterations in the taxonomical names: Sarus Crane and Brolga are now in the new genus Antigone and the Ruff, Broad-billed Sandpiper and Buff-breasted Sandpiper and once again included in genus Calidris <HR> <BR> Birding-Aus mailing list <BR> <BR> To change settings or unsubscribe visit: <BR> http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org </HR> |
