The Red-bellied Pitta split was accepted by the IOC 
(http://www.worldbirdnames.org <http://www.worldbirdnames.org/>) in July 2016.  
It is also accepted by the Clements/eBird folk.

Several Australian ornithologists are on the advisory board of the IOC.
