Has anyone noticed that the latest IOC list, version 7.1, has split
Red-bellied Pitta, Erythropitta erythrogaster? The common name for
Red-bellied Pitta has disappeared. The scientific name now belongs to
Phillipine Pitta and the bird in Australia is now the Papuan Pitta,
Erythropitta macklotii (sub-species digglesi).

Regards,

Tania
