I will miss his knife-edge dissection of politicians on Thursday evenings. I
got to the stage when I was an alderman that I couldn’t watch “Yes Minister” as
it was too close to the bone. But John and Brian Dawe brought back my ability
to see the ridiculous side of politics and laugh again.
