I am in Melbourne for the next two days and intend to travel around western
Victoria for nine days - Geelong, Warrnambool, Hopetoun, Swan Hill, Echuca,
Bendigo, Ballarat. I make DVDs of Australian birds (australianbirddvds.com.au)
and would love to video some new species during the trip - trying to video 500
species. If anyone has info re access to the Gannet colony or where to find
Spotless Crake, Lewin's Rail, Heathwrens, Bristlebirds, Gilbert's Whistler,
Brown Songlark, Blue-winged Parrot, Rufous Fieldwren, White-browsed
Treecreeper, Horsfields Bushlark, Black Honeyeaters, White-backed Swallow, etc,
I would appreciate it very much. I am not very familiar with western Vic so any
offer of help would be most useful.
Thanks.
