Yeah, g'day Mike Camped at Moonbi Lookout 29km north of Tamworth. We passed through some heavy rain from Armidale and had showers at the lookout. About 5.15 we saw two Needletails go across heading South. Some time later and over about 20 minutes we counted a total of twenty with the largest - scattered - group being four. Inside the Kvan at 6.30, we saw another couple through the window. So, there could have been more that we didn't see. Interesting watching about eight (definite count of seven) Dollarbirds hawking around and over top of us for a couple of hours So endeth Day 1 of our trip. Peter and Bev Morgan The conservation battle is never finally won; the development battle is. eiπ + 1 = 0

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
