Sure it wasn't someone watching "Wild Singapore" with the telly sound
turned up? That caught me out the other night, when I was watching ep 2. I
kept on hearing Koels callin, and I thought that they were in the backyard.
Then the penny dropped, Doh!, you are watching something filmed in
Singapore, where they seem to call all year. I have stayed at a little
hotel in Changi several times, nice garden location, surrounded with Rain
Trees, which seem to be constantly full of screaming Koels. You are never
far from a Koel, in Singapore.

Interesting that they are turning up in Melbourne. Enjoy their dulcet tones.
