I'll be house-sitting for my daughter in January. I have McCrie's book and used it to good effect during my winter trip through NT. Can anyone help me with suggestions about birding around Darwin in January? I would especially like to know if Pale-vented Bush-hen is a realistic possibility and how to go about it. Banded Fruit-dove? Pictorella Mannikin?
