G'day all,
I've recently been visiting museums here and in the UK to photograph
grasswren specimens for some research I'm conducting.
I'm using the images for colour comparison between birds in different parts
of their range but I thought they might be of interest/use to other
researchers and birdwatchers. To this end I've been uploading all of the
images into an online gallery on the Facebook page that I have set up to
communicate ongoing research on these species.
All the albums are viewable at this link:

So far I have been concentrating on Dusky Grasswren and I have documented
all specimens held by Museum Victoria and the NHM at Tring in the UK. These
include specimens collected by the Horn (1894) and Hall Expeditions (1965).
I intend to visit other Australian collections soon and North American and
European collections in the not-too-distant-future.
All the best,
Chris Watson
