The White-bellied Sea-Eagle pair nesting at Sydney Olympic Park have hatched their first chick (SE-17) for the 2016 season. The second egg (SE-18) has piped as of 9:00am Saturday morning. Hopefully SE-18 will hatch quickly reducing the time between the chicks development. One of the aspects we are studying is delayed incubation and on face value with this years data this is a real possibility but this data will have to be added to the last seven years.Live video can be viewed at www.sea-eaglecam.org/video. Or on the big screens at BirdLife Discovery Centre open Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 4:00 pm. Cheers & enjoyGeoff Hutchinson

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
