I was up in Lamington NP last week. I spent three days at O'Reilly's, and around there the National Parks people 'captured' all the Noisy Miners, and something like 30 species came back. The birdlife in that area is amazing. I also spent a few days at Binna Burra, where there are plently of Noisy Miners, but other than Satin Bowerbirds and Currawongs, there was very little else. I'm thinking of 'capturing' all the Noisy Miners around my place now...... Cheers, Jason. |
