Australian Twitchers, Victorian Birders and Birdline Victoria are the main ones
I use, and there are similar groups for other states. Eg. South Aussie Birding,
NSW & ACT Birders, WA Birders, etc. There's also the Birding-aus group, set up
by the same famous Russell who set up this mailing list
Plus dozens of others specialising in photography, etc, including Crap Bird
Photography, where people post the kind of shots others just delete.
