from what I can see the following changes have been made to the Australian
list

new species name
Black-eared Catbird - (Latin names unchanged for genus, species and
subspecies)
- range Cape York Pen

Changes in Latin names
Spotted Catbird - A maculosus
Intermediate Egret - Ardea intermedia

Sub-species added
Yellow-tufted Honeyeater - L m gippslandicus (central and east Gippsland)
Mangrove Golden Whistler P m violetae (northern Australia - a bit confusing
as robusta is also listed as northern Australia - will have to look Mathews
1912 when I get time)

Sub-species deleted
Noisy Miner - lepidota lumped with nom subspecies
Australian Magpie - terraereginae lumped with nom subspecies
