Years ago I was contacted by a lady from Poland asking if my film
Discovering the World of Parrots contained the sounds of wild cockatiels,
which of course it does. She has been blind from birth and I have found it
heartwarming that this lovely gal has enjoyed listening to your gorgeous
parrots on my DVD series. Her dream is to travel to Peru and the amazon
to make sound recordings (she has some decent equipment) of parrots there.
Her only hitch is that she needs to travel with an assistant and that
creates a financial hurdle. I don't normally post anything of this manner
unless its conservation minded but I felt this worthwhile. See link
below. Thanks

Don
