Hi Birding Aus folks.  I was wondering if anyone had a favorite spot a
short drive from central Alice Springs that you found really
nice/refreshing when you stayed there.  I was thinking about the following
criteria:
Quiet with decent views of the countryside
No street lights etc so you can take a stroll and check out the magnificent
Aussie Stars or night creatures at night.
Comfortable rooms (no need to be posh just comfortable)
Water /dam on the property would be fantastic
Birds (especially parrots ...on site)

Whats your favorite spot?
