I have been contacted by a student who is doing a thesis on call variation in boobook owls, supervised by Frank Rheindt who has been looking at their genetics. She is chasing any recordings of the lurida and leucopsis (ie tropical north Queensland and Tasmanian forms). She has recordings from or will contact the obvious candidates like Dave Stewart and Fred van Gessel, but I was wondering if anyone else has recordings they could provide?
