Hi Judy,

Brush-turkeys eat a variety of food (HANZAB states "seeds, fruits, grain,
insects, earthworms, occasionally reptiles, and carrion) so I would expect
that they will find enough food to survive. They have been turning up in a
number of north coast New South Wales locations where they were previously
absent or rare so the species is doing well.

Regards

Hi all,

Of course, there are many Australia Brush-Turkeys situated through
Federation Walk and as there was a large fire in November, I'm guessing the
birds are not finding sufficient food in the area.

With the current discussion on feeding, I'm wondering what a solution could
be?

Regards,

Judy
