There were 80 Freckled Ducks at Mandeni, Tura on the Far South Coast NSW seen yesterday Jan 24, 2016. Many males in breeding plumage. This is the largest congregation we have had here. A large lake/pond within the golf course provides good cover and open water where they were seen on the edges as well as swimming.
