I will be in Melbourne 13,14 and 15 Jan. 13th might be a tad warm for birding but 14 and 15th should be ideal. I would like to take video of any of the following: Short-tailed Shearwater, Sanderling, Lessor Sand Plover, Greater Sand Plover, Banded Stilt, Beautiful Firetail or Blue-winged Parrot. Improved video of Australian Shelduck, Australasian Shoveler, Rose Robin, Whiskered Tern, Long-billed Corella or Gang-gang Cockatoo would also be nice. If anyone has any information re recent sitings of any of these species I would appreciate it very much. -- Garry Clark M.Sc., Dip. Ed., Dip Comp. Sc.
