Hi all saw my first WTNTs of the summer over Gordon (approx 9:30am) and North Turramurra (home) approx 10:45am today. Flocks were 5-10 (not good look though) and 30 birds respectively. No Fork-taileds that I could see in either flock (which may well have been the same group anyway). This is the 2nd earliest arrival I have ever recorded in my 18 summers in the North Turramurra area. As usual, I will be recording my sightings across the summer for Mike Tarburton using a very simple record for each sighting maintained on a spreadsheet which I have been using for several years now – I am happy to share this with anybody that would like to use it too.
