I'm seeking advice on birding from Bamaga (Cape York) in early March 2016. Does anyone have experience searching for the local specialties, including Red-bellied Pitta at that time of year? In particular: - can you hire a 4WD in Bamaga? - what are the chances of accessing Lockerbie Scrub in early March? - any other useful advice?
