Hi all
Its ironic that just a few days after the thread about the value or
otherwise of golf courses to birds, there is an article in the SMH today
about golf courses being sold for development (Strathfield) or eyed off by
councils for parks and playing fields for the general public (including
Gordon and Eastlakes, where the freckled duck were last year). No mention
of habitat or birds. Probably potentially threatening, but could present
opportunities to get some habitat extended.
