Some on Birding Aus may have heard of Dr. Nicole Duplaix, founder and director of TRAFFIC. She was a close friend of waterfowl expert, Janet Kear, who sadly died a few years ago - they collaborated on Flamingoes. Nicole has just married her longtime partner, Susan Wood, on a beach with their dogs in attendance.
