First Dog on the Moon comes to rescue of the Cassowary

Today's First Dog on the Moon cartoon from The Guardian comes to the defence of 
the Cassowary and denounces the closure of the rehab centre. Some might take 
exception to the Cassowary being called a "prehistoric death monster from outer 
space" though. I don't. The strip can be seen here;
