Julian, I was recently in the area but had no car. Took a bicycle around Burnett Heads muddy marina area and towards the old lighthouse park. Also the national park around Mon Repos turtle rockery is a lovely walk. Happy birding, Burney Date: Fri, 17 Jul 2015 00:18:25 +1000 From: "Julian Bielewicz" <> To: "Aus Birding" <> Subject: Bundaberg Gap Message-ID: <> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Greetings Fellow Birders I find myself having to attend a teachers? conference in Bundaberg on Tuesday 28 this month. Will arrive earlier, stay overnight. Could anyone suggest a good birding spot or two Fay and I could investigate in the hours before the conference and early the following morning [29 July]? Many thanks in advance.
