Would any birders in the Macleod/Bundoora area be interested in making a regular bird survey in the area north of Latrobe University? This would include the Gresswell Habitat Link, Strathallen Golfcourse, Gresswell Grange storm-water ponds and maybe extending to Gresswell Hill and Gresswell Forest. We might solve the problem of where the Swift Parrots go to feed - at present they seem to leave Macleod Staion about 10.00 am or 10.30. I used to have quite a bit of good birding around here, but not lately. If there's someone who is familiar with the E-List procedures, this would be a great help - I am technologically incompetent and rely on paper-based record-keeping techniques.
