Hi all,
We are currently a few short for the scheduled Southport Pelagic, which
will be on Sunday (the 28th). Just putting the word out here to see if
anyone is free on that day and would be interested in coming out to sea.
There have been lots of exciting seabirds seen in the last couple of weeks
on various pelagics around Australia, and the conditions look very good for
the Sunday trip. There are strong SSE winds forecast for Friday and
Saturday that then ease early Sunday morning. SE winds are ideal because
they push birds towards the coast from the seamounts. I will be driving
down from Brissy and there are a few other people as well, so if you need a
lift it can probably be arranged.
