A freshly dead adult Light-mantled Sooty Albatross was found by Parks Victoria staff (Lou Bracy) in the carpark at Gunnamatta Beach on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, yesterday 13 May 2015. We have had storms for a week. This is a very rare bird in Victoria and is an early date for such an occurrence. In the vague hope that it will pass the filters I attach a photo.
